Whale Watching in Abashiri

Guess what these figures are? 

They show the percentage of whales, dolphins and seawater birds that you can see in Abashiri offshore during the months of April to October.  1-2 in the vertical order are different types of whales, 3-4 are different types of dolphins and lastly seawater birds.  In the horizontal order are the months from April to October. Surprisingly high score! 

You can see these wild life from the local whale watching boat that leaves once every morning and afternoon for 2.5-3hrs cruise.  8000 yen for adults, 4000 yen for children under 12.  It might be worth a try!  For details pls ask your concierge.
