Okhotsk Sea To Summit 2019 – June 22 to 23
Sea To Summit is an event held worldwide since 2009 in cooperation with local governments. It’s a 2-days nature-oriented sports event that enhances us all to think back on environment and nature, and this year in Japan it will be held at 13 prefectures/regions.
Abashiri is selected as one of the 13 sites (June 22-23). Starting with kayaking in Lake Abashiri and Abashiri River, participants will be biking in the countryside and hiking up Mt. Mokoto – total distance of 48km and altitude measurement of 1000m.
Bikes and kayaks can be rented. Registration available till May 23. Fee per person is 10,500 yen. For details, pls check the following site. (Pls be aware that all info are not translated into English)
