JAPAN LIFTS RESTRICTIONS TO FOREIGN TOURISTS FROM OCT 11
Yesterday Prime Minister Kishida announced during his trip to New York that Japan will lift the restrictions now laid on foreign tourists to Japan starting October 11.
(1) abandon the ceiling to the daily number of entries to Japan
(2) allow independent travelers, without escort
(3) no longer require visa for short stays
It wasn’t stated clearly, but tourists may still need to be vaccinated 3 times or submit a negative COVID test results.
I’ll keep you posted on any more details that come out.
Yay! We’re nearly back to “before-Corona”!
