Flower Season! – SAKURA

The looooong waited sakura flowers finally started blooming on May 5^th (yesterday) in Abashiri.  The warm weather that soared as high as 24 degrees  helped the buds to burst into flowers today!  The temperature is expected to drop to 15 degrees tomorrow, which will most probably stop further blooming and allow us to enjoy their beauty for a while 🙂
